Our class is nicknamed the Second Grade Superstars---watch
us, we can go far! This year we
are working on a new social skill each month.In September we worked on courtesy. During October we practiced being responsible.
During the holiday season we used the theme of CARING. With the beginning of the new year, our theme is goal-setting.
February finds us talking about honesty. As we say each morning in our Viking Pledge,
"honesty, have we got it yet?" Now during the busy month of March, we are learning to be healthy in many ways.
We started the month with a little exercise and enjoyed a healthy snack. This week, our nurse, Lisa Hoefer will speak to the
class about other things we can do to stay healthy.
